I really don't mind shooting weddings on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, especially with such an amazingly kind couple like Shenica & Jordan. They rented a house right on the beach with their immediate family. The ONLY downside was the hundreds of jellyfish that washed up on shore. But we were all perfectly content to enjoy the view. Thanks to Ashley for having me along!

Tess told me about this idea that she has had since being a freshman at Tigard High School. It involved bringing a comfy chair into the middle of a street in the Hawthorne neighborhood. So we did it! I'm really glad her dream didn't involve a comfy couch in the middle of I-84.

I've been excited about photographing Jillian & Stevenmikel's wedding for a long time, because they've just got this connection that makes me happy. Held at Ferrier Creek Nursery in Hubbard, Oregon, their details were creative and cute. I loved their donation table idea which encouraged guests to donate towards important causes. I got another chance to work with the fantastic Laurie at A Bride's Best Friends, and the beautiful florals arranged by Heather at Summersweet.
