Down to Roseburg with the parents. And after, we picked up a Christmas tree! Well, we violently chopped it down, but what's a holiday without a little hunting and gathering...
jonathan turns seven
Jonathan is a smart kid and I love him so much. He is brilliant at chess. For his birthday, we created 6 different mental puzzle games that he had to solve in order for him to get his next present, leading to the final presents. Each game was themed after each chess piece (pawn, rook, knight, bishop, queen, and king). Lotsa fun. Ashley made a chessboard cake for him which was ridiculous.
