Sauvie Island just makes me happy. And so do Breanne and Andy. Often while I am editing photos, I catch myself smiling really big, and then I look around to see that no one just saw me, and then I keep smiling.

I'm an Ohio destination wedding photographer. I promise you though, I'm NOT leaving Portland. I photographed this one earlier this year near Cleveland, and this month I had the priviledge of visiting Columbus, Ohio for a beautiful fall Midwestern wedding. I absolutely loved the fall colors and decor, and Katie knew what she was doing when she decided to get married in Columbus, where she grew up. The reception was held at the Scioto Reserve Country Club, and the wedding at Liberty Presbyterian Barn Church. Nina Banks did an exceptional job coordinating this wedding, Flowers by Hilliard Floral, and video by Blue Skies Video. Also, I would like everyone to know that I went to Schmidt's Sausage Haus (featured on Man vs Food) and I ate all-you-can-eat sausage and shared a half-lb cream puff. See? Now EVERYONE wants to be an Ohio destination wedding photographer! A huge thanks to Ashley for shooting (and eating) with me.

Kristy & Roger got engaged here at Multnomah Falls. So we beat the crowds early for a weekday shoot first thing in the morning! My brain was wonky, but I still made pictures. Thanks to Ashley for bringing me along.

I have been SO fortunate this year to work with clients who are truly remarkable people. And that makes me love my job. Jessica & Bryce are exceptionally wonderful. The reception and getting ready photos were done at the Leftbank Annex in Portland, Oregon, and they shared their vows at Augustana Lutheran Church. Flowers were done by Jessica's friend, Chiharu Dinsmore, and catering by Bon Appetit. And yes, this first frame is ONE picture. Thank you for your cool angles Leftbank!
