What? A backyard wedding, a tree planting ceremony, and anime fans? Sign me up. Heather and Sanjay currently live in Chicago but traveled back to Heather's hometown in Vancouver, Washington for their awesome wedding, held in their parent's backyard and the reception at the Firstenburg Community Center. It also happened that the Kumoricon Convention was being held in Vancouver so we grabbed a few shots with some attendees just for fun! Coordinated by Laurie from A Bride's Best Friends, Flowers by Cheerity Floral, and catering by Nicolette's.

Tracey and Kevin just got back from Italy but I told them I would NOT be photoshopping in backdrops of the Florence skyline or the Colosseum. They smiled for the camera anyways. We met up at the Hotel deLuxe, where they shared their first meeting and then went up to Hoyt Arboretum.

I love Mt Hood Organic Farms. They even fed Ashley and I food and I'm not even going to say how delicious it was. Wai Si and Andy are food people (he cooks sustainable health foods for a school in NY) so this venue was a perfect match. And gladly, they fell in love with Oregon too.
