2010, Year in Review

It's now Christmas Eve, my birthday.  How best do I celebrate being old?  Well, it's the fact that 2010 was a really great year.  Here is a small handful of  images I made this year that make me proud.  Each of these represent a moment that means a great deal to me personally and photographically.  I'm so excited for 2011.  Like, ridiculously excited.

However, I should say that my favorite pictures have to be of these two.  They make me smile forever.

Karishma & Raj, India

To be asked to photograph a wedding is an honor.  To be asked to help photograph a wedding in India is an experience that is beyond description.  It's one of those experiences where even photography falls short.  Thank you to Ashley for having me along.  To Raj & Karishma, I cannot thank you and your families enough for the incredible love and hospitality you showed us.  I'm grateful to be a photographer. Enter a 5 day, insanely-rad, Hindu wedding, beginning in Vadodara and ending in Meerut (just north of Dehli).  We traveled by plane, train, auto-rickshaw, regular-rickshaw, and taxi.  Raj got the horse though, cause he's the one who got married.  Shot with digital and Fuji Pro400H film.
