First wedding of the year. It was cold, rainy, windy, and romantic. Just like January should be. The ceremony was held in Roy, Oregon at St Francis Church with the reception in Forest Grove at the Forest Grove Armory. Camera gear bonus: I had a lot of fun using the new Fuji x100 for a few shots.

Paul and I first met in 7th grade. Friends through high school, roommates in college. I love being a photographer at weddings but when you know someone this well, it's even more meaningful when you know everyone around you. Congratulations Paul and Christen and I wish you both all the happiness in the world. The wedding was held at Flinn Block Hall in Albany, Oregon.

I'm an Ohio destination wedding photographer. I promise you though, I'm NOT leaving Portland. I photographed this one earlier this year near Cleveland, and this month I had the priviledge of visiting Columbus, Ohio for a beautiful fall Midwestern wedding. I absolutely loved the fall colors and decor, and Katie knew what she was doing when she decided to get married in Columbus, where she grew up. The reception was held at the Scioto Reserve Country Club, and the wedding at Liberty Presbyterian Barn Church. Nina Banks did an exceptional job coordinating this wedding, Flowers by Hilliard Floral, and video by Blue Skies Video. Also, I would like everyone to know that I went to Schmidt's Sausage Haus (featured on Man vs Food) and I ate all-you-can-eat sausage and shared a half-lb cream puff. See? Now EVERYONE wants to be an Ohio destination wedding photographer! A huge thanks to Ashley for shooting (and eating) with me.

The reception and getting ready photos were done at the Leftbank Annex in Portland, Oregon, and they shared their vows at Augustana Lutheran Church.
