This is a fair warning. If you show up wearing Patagonia, I may be extra touchy-feely with you. I apologize in advance. It's just that the clothes are well-made, warm, and remind me of being comfortable. Matt had to find out the hard way, asking him to take it off and put it on, over and over and over. Sorry, Matt. I had to go ALL the way across the river for Carrie & John's engagement shoot. And it was worth it. Despite their mad Huskies vs Cougars rivalry, Carrie & John put their differences aside and totally had a good time and made some gorgeous pictures with us. I'm so excited for their wedding in Vancouver at the Pearson Air Museum! Big thanks to Ashley Forrette for shooting with me, without whom many beautiful pictures & my cheesy jokes would not be possible.
I just love when clients are willing to come to North Portland to shoot with us. There is SO much interesting stuff here: textures, bridges, undeveloped areas, migratory birds. But when a couple comes along as ridiculous as Kristine & Paul with the hair and the height and the smiley goodness, everything else just gets overwhelmed and let's them be the star of the show.
