mt hood timberline lodge oregon wedding

Can’t beat the view. This laid back wedding brought family & guests from across the country, up Timberline road via an aerial shot by Stanley Kubrick*. When I arrived, no horror film awaited me*, just the groom chilling on a patio chair looking at the mountain and I knew I was in the right place. Maybe I’d always been there?*

*References of the 1980 film by Stanley Kubrick “The Shining”, which filmed a few small portions of the film at Timberline Lodge, using it as the facade of the film’s Overlook Hotel. You come here for wedding content, you leave with horror film knowledge! Yay weddings!
