mount tom house summer wedding

Mount Tom House has this welcoming, intimate feeling like no other. So when you have a joy-saturated party, it’s really the best place to be. Juli is the best host and I love being a part of every wedding there. I also photographed some medium format film on the Rolleiflex on TriX400 Black and White and Portra Color film.

For another Mount Tom celebration, check out this one, or some other Eugene area weddings, see this one at Mt Pisgah Arboretum, or this one at Havenroot.

I love it so much when family, especially kids, are involved in the celebration at a personal level. I met up with this family at Peninsula Park and after making some sun-drenched, rose-garden bursting photographs, we headed to Portland’s courthouse for the ceremony.

If you like elopements, check out this winter wedding at the courthouse and Gabbiano’s Italian restaurant, wet forest elopement under redwood trees, or this front yard wedding in the neighborhood.

Since their reception was at a tasty Italian eatery, Gabbianos, I jokingly suggested they should wear bibs. They did it. And from then on, their wedding was as scrumptious as a giant meatball. We met at their house, then visited the Peninsula Park Rose Garden for photos, then headed to the Portland Courthouse for the legal documents. Then, we ate some of the most delicious wedding food ever.

Two men who've loved each other for over a decade, and they hosted a lovely celebration for their friends and family. Held at the Black Pearl, overlooking the Columbia River, and being the magnificent hosts that they are, they cut and served the cake to their guests.

Coordinated by Jenah at YPB. Florals by Red's Creations, delicious morsels by Mad Hatter, and the architecturally on point cake by Dream Cakes.
