Oregon Coast

cape meares oregon coast forest wedding

A wedding just gets better with participation. In throwing a celebration gathering friends and family from across the world to a beautiful and intimate corner of the Oregon Coast, this wedding made a weekend out of it. Games and challenges like relay races, dance competitions, and egg balancing, followed by oyster shots and music at Jandy’s Oyster Bar, this was just the beginning. At the family property and coordinated by Your Perfect Bridesmaid, these two threw a laugh-filled party like no other.

One of my favorite spots on the Oregon Coast is Hug Point. It gets some attention for good reason: it's magical. Time the tide tables, run around the bend holding hands, accidentally stomping into a deeper-than-expected puddle and there you are in front of a waterfall, the Pacific Ocean, sea-stained rocks, and in some cases, rays of sunlight. These two brought their adventure spirit and put up with my goofiness as we explored. Thankfully we avoided sneaker waves (barely), Bigfoot (that we know of), and kept our socks mostly dry.
