camp namanu oregon summer wedding

You can’t keep a musician away from their instruments, just like you can’t keep these two away from adventure, water, and each other. Guests stayed in open-air cabins at Camp Namanu for a weekend river hangs, bare feet, and forest Sasquatches (no photographs exist so sorry, the truth is still out there). Seriously, this wedding day was so full of joy and connection and I’m so grateful to be among wonderful people like these. The day was documented on both digital and film, shot on a Rolleiflex.

portland greek orthodox castaway wedding

Combine tradition with a free-flowing disco party, bright sun and a dark church, film and digital, joy and sadness, friends of youth and grandparents, loud shouts and quiet moments. So much happened at this summer wedding at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Portland, Oregon and on to the party at Castaway.

Photographed on Fujifilm digital cameras, a Rolleiflex, and a Holga film camera on Delta 3200, and Portra 160. I included one of my most favorite happy film accidents of all time, so see if you can spot it!

Coordinated by Bridal Bliss, florals by Noble Floral.

columbia gorge hotel disco wedding

A disco-themed, dj dance party with audible joy and massive amount of love, which pretty much sums up the ingredients of the kind of wedding I enjoy photographing. The bride manned the DJ booth, did a little piano solo, and led some shuffle dancing.

Held at the Columbia Gorge Hotel, coordinated by Jaime Ta, and florals by Wildflower.co.

I also added some 35mm color film.

Wedding priorities: really good food. friends and family. the quickest ceremony imaginable. These two absolutely crushed their goals and it felt like the prettiest, backyard hangout.
